    Clogged water line hack

A lot of you guys that check and do maintenance on pasture water probably know this one but thought I would share. A lot of overflow drain pipes get clogged with moss etc.

Take a tennis ball and drill a hole a size smaller than your air gun/nozzle body. Insert nozzle through the ball.

Use tennis ball to block pipe and give short blasts of air to unclog line. Hold the tennis ball down securely to avoid getting a shower.

This is an overflow from this trough that goes to an over flow dirt tank next to the mill. Occasionally gets clogged.

    Back draining.

I would think a gallon or 2 clorox through line and To Ground would keep it clean every now and then when its flowing..as PM...But ya got a pretty good idea there...

Yeah normally I use blue stone that kills the moss. Just haven’t had cows in this pasture in a while and it got mossed over.

Yes sir! Could this also be used to unclog a AC drain in the attic?

I bet it could. Just use smaller tip with less air.

I wouldn't recommend it. You're better off using a shop vac & suction to prevent blowing the PVC fittings apart inside your walls.

The PVC is designed to hold pressure, but not designed for vacuum right?

As long as you stay within the rated pressure you should be fine.
