He went less than 30 yards and fell over from a double lung shot. He never knew what happened, it was absolutely textbook.[emoji1018] I thanked God and the "little people" of Alaska for making this dream come true. [emoji120]
The work load on this critter was incredible.[emoji37] 1/2 mile away from our trailhead. Yes, that's the heart of my Friday the 13th bull.[emoji180]

The last trip out was rough but worth the strain! We left a huge gutpile for a grizzly but still no activity as of this morning when we hiked in under the first frosted morning.[emoji849]

My Friday the 13th moon!!! Just incredibly beautiful over the tundra. I wanted to make sure to dedicate this hunt. We always focus on our families on these adventures but this one has a major twist. My guide Glen had a son born during this trip on September 9th at 9:57 am. Leviticus "Levi" Scott Elliot will surely be a very special kid!!!! [emoji1270][emoji294][emoji1270] For Glen to follow thru on this hunt and be stuck out here for extra days is far above and beyond the call of duty. I am proud to call him a friend. Our mountain goat trip 3 years ago was harrowing at times.....but he never wavered then nor now! Congrats to the entire Elliot clan and the Yup'ik people of Alaska on the new addition to the family!!!![emoji120]
