    Bee Removals

Went to look at a removal today. Old Hive was empty about it a month ago, but a new colony had recently moved back into it. Had to remove a little of the wall to remove them. Used a bee vac to pull most of them out and put them into a new hive body. We did find the queen! Got her marked to make it easier to find her during future inspections. And a nice sunset to finish off the day.Click image for larger version

I did many Bee removals over about 4 years. Very hot dirty work but very fascinating!
