I haven't kilt a pig in 6 months or better. Seen a couple here and there on various camera's.( Correct use of the (')?)
I'm Bery very discouraged but estatic for the landowners. Been tempted to give it up. Or grossly overhaul how I do things. ie sell everything ev ery thing except my AR10 buy Thermal scope.
So tonight I check camera @ a place that's been very wet. It's got 7K+ pictures. Like 15G worth on a 16G card. I checked some. Lots of grass swaying. Anyways on 4/11/19 one pig came in @ 630p & left out @ 658p.
I refilled that feeder. Formatted card and reinstalled it.
Went to my normal hunting spot next.
I didn't expect to see anything cause I ain't seen anything other than coons here in 8 months now I think, could be longer
I had checked the cards this past Monday night. Zilch nada nothing. Camera wasn't working. Batteries weren't making good contact.
Anyways.
I get there @ 9pm. Pull cards has 278 pictures. Lots of cows, coon, squirrel and Geese. Than on 5/21 @ 0430 CHA CHIINGA. Pigs not just 1 or 2 but like 15 or more. Under feeder was solid OINKERS!!! WOOOHOOO. Target rich environment!! I'M GONNA SHOOT ME SOME PIGGIES. Maybe get another 2'fer.
Than again on 5/23 @ 0430ish YES!!! I'M GONNA SHOOT ME SOME MORE PIGGIES'S :-).
I want to leave the area NOW. So as not to disturb anything anymore than I already had. Plus the coons was about to show up.
I normally have 2 cards per camera. I didn't this time. So I transfer (MOVE TO)all the pics from the card to my phone. @ 66% the app crashes. No biggie. I delete all the pics from the folder I created on my phone so I can transfer them all again and not have duplicates. So I go back to my SD Card and there's only like 50 pictures left on it. All my GOOD pictures are gone from the SD card and I'd just deleted them from my phone :sad:
So if you don't carry 2 cards per camera and look at them on your phone, transfer the ones you want to your phone and than format the card before reinstalling it. Try using COPY TO instead. That way if there's an issue the pictures will still be on the SD card.
