building a 4 ft privacy fence question

Going to put a small fence around our pool equipment probably 4ft tall. Are the 1 5/8" galvanized post strong enough to hold 2 2x4 + 4 ft pickets. Probably no section more than 6' between posts.

Or do I have to buy the 2 3/8 posts?

Also all the accessories that go on the post are all made for 2 3/8. If I went with the smaller posts what would I use for brackets to hold the wood, etc.?

Imo if all the hard ware is for the 2 inch post that's what I would use.. makes life easier.. unless theres a big cost difference.

The big cost difference is that I have the 1 5/8 and would have to buy the 2 3/8. Plus the bigger post are 8 foot, so I'll have to cut off the top 2'.

        Conduit (2-screw) clamps might work..

I'm thinking a U-bolt on the straight section but would have to figure out the corner.
