I am looking for s leather shoulder holster for my Ruger Super Redhawk with a 7 1/2 inch barrel. Does anyone recommend one over the other or can someone lead me I t he right direction to have one made? I know there are leather people on here and was wondering if anyone would be interested in making a custom shoulder holster for me. Thanks for the help and the leads.

I really like chest holsters for any handgun with a longer than 4" barrel.

Chest holster was my first choice for my Ruger Super Blackhawk (44 mag). It's a great option if you carry a pack.

I don't know if they still make it but the Bianchi X15 s a great big gun shoulder holster. I've had one for 40 years now and it's been great. I've back packed with it on as well as fly fished and bow hunted with it on. Worked great.Comment

Going to bump this back up. Would anyone be interested in making me a holster? Also, I have some old boots that hold a special place with me and was wondering if anyone would be able to take the leather from those boots and make a chest holster? Anyone have any recommendations?Comment

This is the Cadillac of shoulder holsters... I carried a S&W Model 29 (44 mag) 8 3/8" barrel in it for hunting... VERY comfortable and quick access draw...
