Petrified wasp nest

More likely some kind of coral but figured petrified wasp nest would get more people looking and possibly someone positively ID what it is

We just closed on a neighboring place and it was in the yard about half buried
Apparently from the looks of things some former resident liked rocks
I thought it looked pretty cool

That is one neat rock. I think it is coral but I have never seen petrified coral with the holes open. I love it..

Looks like little cells are mostly filled with quartz or at least what looks like it
