Some Axis down!

We had a great weekend with some clients up at Briar Oaks Ranch. 3 of us got our first ever axis. Mine wasn't a monster but he was 238 lbs, 29" in velvet, and had some unique webbing and his caudal was trying to split off near the base. We had to hunt them hard but it paid off. Not a bow kill but it was a 260 yd shot that dropped him in his tracks.
