I have done it several times. It was a temporary fix. I just buy new light assembly now

Meguiars makes a kit for about $15 that works really well. It lasts about a year and you have to redo it. Takes about 10 minutes. Much easier and cheaper option than buying new/replacements.

Anything you just rub on and off wont last. To make it last you need to wet sand with with up to 2000 git sand paper then polish with a compound

In Houston there are people that come to your house and do a professional job for $50.00 per light. Then keep them waxed and you are done.........

Anyone get a service to do it? If so how much $
On a DIY , what did you use ? How long did it last ect
Someone told me bug spray works but is only VERY temporary and actually speeds up the yellowing?
                  Thanks
Like all things in life, there are quick fixes, and good fixes. Headlights are no exception.

Google has your answers. The real secret to the long-lasting solution for headlights includes applying a UV barrier so the problem doesn't come back.

I did my own, and it took about conservatively about 30 minutes per headlight.
Sand paper is cheap, and soapy dish water to dip the sandpaper in.
Plenty of youtube videos on this, but the only true way to make it last is to sand the lens and then put a clear coat or a wax finish.
The clear coat must be UV preventive.

Yep. What most of the headlight repair scams don’t tell you is they actually strip the UV film/coating off the plastic so they typically are as bad or worse in a year or less.

                      Been there, done that.
