I’ll be heading out to rocksprings Texas next weekend. Anyone ever hunted here before,is it good for bow hunting? I’ll be hunting axis and turkey, are the axis more active in the day or at night. Thanks

Really? The friends I’m going with killed 4 whitetail and a couple axis. Also one turkey. Is the hunting there that bad.

                      Rocks! Lots of rocks!!!

...but it's been 35-40 years since I hunted out there. Perhaps the rocks are gone now.

It is a great place to hunt regardless. I think it’s good place to bow hunt also.

                          Nope. They multiplied!

OP, the hunting is great in the area. Very high deer population and super fun to bow hunt.

You'll have an absolute blast, the hardest part about bowhunting there is the topography causes the winds to swirl a lot. The turkeys were talking last weekend.
