    Deer Keds

A friend shot a Axis Doe on my place Monday morning in Harper and it had tick like critters crawling all over it. No blood bags or sacks, but little crab like bugs that were all over the Axis' belly. I am very familiar with Ticks. But I am being told these are Deer Keds. Deer was healthy and pregnant. I shot an Axis buck in Kerrville a few days earlier and my Buck did not have these critters all over it.
    What say you?

    Did they have wings?

Deer Keds carry the Lyme disease just like ticks do

No wings, they looked like ticks that have not latched on yet.

Ticks Fleas and now Keds just another bug to craw on you when cleaning your game. What's next?

Keds lose their wings when they find their host.

                            I think it was deleted.

Long story short, somebody claimed a friend or family member (don't remember which) to have lyme disease, got lots of support an/or money and turned out to be a scam.
