German Shorthaired Pointer

Will be looking for a started GSP in a month or two. Have been looking for a while, a little picky probably, but also just buying time as my 14.5yr old pointing lab is in steady decline. Fortunately we are in Colorado, and he stays pretty happily stoned on THC for dogs (which has helped his mobility and appetite tremendously). I have a 3yr old pointing lab and will need a second field dog. Ol' Red hasnt hunted in 3years and that makes for some long days for Blu.



Prefer a heavily ticked black roan, but am open to others... just not keen on a solid liver, or a mostly white. Will consider either sex, 9 to 13-ish months.



Thought i'd put it out to any of the TBH'ers that might raise GSP's or know folks who do.

Hey Josh, I live in Parker and have gotten two from Nickel Creek Gundogs. They are both from the same dam and sire and have been amazing. Mine weren't started but with the right bloodline a big part of the work is done naturally. I was amazed with the first introduction to birds and gunfire how quickly they both picked it up and continue to get better each year
