Drew a unit 36 1st season archery elk. Pretty pumped.

I was successful on my 2nd choice. First Archery. Rugged Unit with elk, not huge quantities but some good bulls. Going to be a rugged hard hunt. Will have to find water. I am pumped. I will need to try find another hunter somewhere to try to hook up with the next few months.

My son and I were drawn for Unit 50 2nd archery. I let him know we won the lottery as I was dropping him off for school. I don’t think he believed me. I’m sure he’s going to have a hard time focusing today!

Us too! We will be there at the same time . Have hunted that unit a few times and its fun. Not alot of elk or big ones but WAY better then OTC colorado and pretty easy terrain.
