Bird and Locke St. John? Or did I miss a move today? Bird has been up and down a couple times already and hes, meh. Locke is supposed a poor mans version of Claudio. Sidearm lefty. Doesn't throw hard.

I think the biggest surprise is moving Chavez to the rotation. Worth a shot, cant be worse than Smyly I guess. Its going to be hard to replace what he's been for the bullpen though.

I understand we need starters but I hate to loose Chavez as a long reliever who could be used multiple times a week. As a starter it will only be every fifth day.
