I completely understand that some peoples situations are different than others and some unexpected turns in life drain peoples savings.

What I can't stand is people that have horrible spending habits or terrible decision making complain that they will never be able to retire.

I retired at 50yrs and 3 days old. Wish I could have done it sooner!!!!!

But yes, you do need to plan for it, and make sure you have all your ducks in a row!!
