I suck at internet, but.
How does one even post pics in the private messaging?

You can through Tapatalk. Do it all the time. I don't think it can be done through Safari or on the computer.



Most folks though, PM for a text or email address to send those pics to folks.


To answer the OP. Some folks just can't figure out the picture posting thing no matter how many times they are walked through it.....and they have to go through the channels to get it to the interested party.


PM for pics usually means, send me a text # or email address I can get them to you at.

I will say that posting pics on this particular site is a pain compared to most others. However, it’s still not hard. It does take a few extra moments/steps and I think most people are just too lazy to put out the effort.

Depending on the device, the time of day, the day of the week, the moon phase, and possibly other netherworldly things, pics can be easy, slow, or impossible to post. So if it’s easy for you it may not be for me.

Lol almost as silly as hiding a license plate that literally thousands of people see everyday. I must be missing something.

They do that because when they harass somebody online talking trash they don't want someone looking up their post history, getting their plate, and showing up at their house. LOL

Do you have your pics set to HD? That's the only time I have had fail issues.


Posting pics is easy if your pic is of decent size. I've used Safari, Tapatalk or on your computer using the paper clip icon. Very quick and simple.

I agree. Really annoying.

Almost as annoying as listing something and someone posts "I'm interested, send me a PM". If you're the one interested, shouldn't you be sending the PM? head scratcher there.

To take that a step further, I once put a picture of my land on another forum and got a PM asking me if I had any interest in selling. "We love that area, nothing is for sale, have been looking forever, etc."

I said I'd consider selling it and gave my email address. Got an email shortly after demanding all these things and a price well below market and all this pro-active "I won't be taken advantage of!!!" language.

Super weird. I just said, "It's not for sale." and didn't respond further.

There is a HD setting on my Iphone. They were too large and uploads failed. Turned it off and we were back in business.

I get it. Most of the time I do not have a problem with posting pics. Every once in a while it doesnt matter what I do the d@mn things just wont post.

See HDR crossed out in top left... and no that’s not the resolution without it on. I shook the phone on the screenshot and it was blurred[emoji23]
