    shoulder surgeon needed

I have had my shoulder operated on twice. They said the only option left was replacement but I want a second opinion. does anybody know of a good shoulder surgeon in the Austin area? Prefer someone that works on athletes as they usually up to date on the latest techniques. Any help is appreciated.

Dr. Stephen Pearce, Austin Bone & Joint. Has cut on me three times. I highly recommend him. Did my rotator repair and a shattered elbow. Phenomenal surgeon. (512) 477-6341. Has your best interest in mind at all times. Very professional.

I have a Doc up here in Dallas, if you're willing to make the drive/flight. He's top notch.
Texas Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Group is a nationally known Orthopaedic Surgery clinic in Dallas, Texas. We have three Orthopaedic Surgeons, one Interventional Spine Specialist, and a Sports Medicine and Concussion Specialist who deal with the special needs of athletes of all ages.

In Austin area Dr Seade. All he works on is shoulders. When he did mine he had another guy come reattach my bicep. I asked him whey he couldn't do it- He responded if you want I can try but I specialize in shoulders. Look him up and feel confident going to him.

Dr Meister in Arlington at TMI Sports. Head physician for Rangers. Search for "Meister" as I've recommended him in the past and can't search for it on my computer due to work's firewall.

Dr. Peter Garcia at Texas Orthopedics, in Austin.
Certainly you want a great surgeon.
But the physical therapist plays a big role, as well.
And I can recommend one at Texas Orthopedics that is fantastic.

Hate to hear about your troubles, shoulder issues are awful.

You want someone who is a shoulder specialist. The shoulder is the most complicated joint in the body. Any of them can do knees.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Yes shoulders are unique and I can say from experience that they suck when they are not right. Will check into those mentioned and see who takes my insurance. If I hurry I can be ready to shoot by now season.
