    Rock Quarry? Coleman, Tx

Does anyone know of a rock quarry near Coleman, Tx? I have asked around and Google searched with no luck. Looking to lay a parking area down at deer camp. Thanks in advance.

What part of the county? All the county roads there are caliche and last I knew the county bought it from individuals in the county. You MIGHT figure out the precinct and call the commissioner and see where they get it. There used to be a big pit on the west side of the county between Coleman and Winters but not sure it’s been active in a long time.

We are between Coleman and Burkett. I guess calling the county might be my best bet. I was told about the pit on the west side of town but cant seem to find any contact info for them. I guess I need to make some time and drive out that way and check it out. I appreciate your help.

Where abouts? We are just NE of Echo, on 174 and a mile west of 2806

Sorry, can’t help with the rock quarry question. I’ll ask my dad, he’s more familiar with the area and where to get stuff

Call a local dump truck guy/dozer man, they will have a source for crushed stone and road base and you can buy it through them.

                  Kaliche sucks.
