I just found out that we received two free tickets to the Antiques Roadshow on April 27th. I had applied back in February for a chance to be chosen. In March, I was notified that we were not selected. A week or two later they sent me an email with another chance.
They had set aside 100 more tickets for something called "Knock Our Socks Off". They asked folks, who were not chosen, to submit pictures of items that they felt were special.
I sent them pics of an oil on canvas by Harry Roseland that I purchased from my Aunt's estate. I guess we knocked their socks off.
Here's the painting and a link to a past thread where I asked if anyone on here knew an art appraiser. Someone suggested Antiques Roadshow so here we go.
If you see an old gray haired, potbellied, grumpy fat guy on there, that will be me.
