    Monster snake

Sorry lil fella. Didn't mean to get you with my weedeater.
This is about as big as a Brown Snake ever gets. It's 13" long with about an inch of it's tail missing. Wish I had seen it in time so it could continue eating bugs in my plant beds.

        Felt bad.
There were 4 all bundled up, think it was some kinky, snakelove thing.

We had one in the washing machine somehow last year. My wife made it out to be an anaconda

i busted one with the weedeater last year, felt bad, thought he was DOA, turned around and he was gone. I don't want them dead but I sure hate when I am bagging leaves and blindly run my hand across them.

Top one is a Texas Brown snake and the bottom love festival is rough earth snakes. All full grown.

The Brown Snake will eat crickets and other large bugs, worms etc. The Rough snake will eat a bazillion roly poly pill bugs and other small insects.
I love having them around as well as dozens of house geckos, Anoles and a good number of Spiny Lizards. I consider it my civic duty to protect these loveable creatures from Cats, Bluejays and Mockingbirds the world's most worthless bird.
The Anoles love our big potted tropical plants and each has it's own favorite plant it stays on or near. Anoles are sort of friendly and will crawl right up to you.
