The country music station on DirectTV did a 100% George Strait program for about a month out here last spring. My daughter came north from college with a young man she was dating for the first time and when they came into the back yard, I had it on the outside speakers I put put in under the eve of the house. She looked at him and said, "I you my Dad would be listening to George Strait". Glad she got rid of that one, fast. Boy had never seen a gun before in his life.

I cannot pick a favorite. I like all of his stuff. I have seen him numerous times in concert and enjoyed everyone of them. He is the King.

The next day when she sobered up I was feeling full of myself from the compliments the night before so I started singing some more George. She looked at me funny and said I sounded like a drunk Kenny Chesney.

All of them!! I would strogly recommend everyone who doesn't already own them to purchase the 50 # 1's and the 22 other Great hits CDs. Altogether it makes about 5 hours of the greatest contry music! If you werent a fan before, you will be eventually.

He's very good, and is obviously one of the most commercially successful of all time, but the BEST SINGER OF ALL TIME? That's a bold statement.
