Where did you buy a 20% off coupon and how much was it? Looking like we need a new dryer.

EBAY
I never shop at lowes or home depot anymore without checking ebay first. For a couple of bucks you can get at the very least a 10% off coupon. They are instant coupons too.
Also I havent tried it, I have heard of it working, but some stores might even honor the 20% off coupon from Harbor freight. I'm sure it's super hit or miss though and likely just depends on who you get at the register.
No, they dont. For one i hold on to vehicles. Not one to always have the new shiny latest and greatest. When i bought my tacoma i knew what i wanted. I called and told them what I wanted. Told them I am buying this truck. From who is up to yall. I am asking one time what is the best price. Many wanted to try talk me into coming on the lot to tell me the features bla bla.... Some gave me a price. I paid 500 over dealer cost. It was quick and easy.
You will never save that much money for the head ache of haggling. Unless we are talking used, garage sale, preowned rare type items.
But we arnt, we are talking Lowes and Home Depot. Which are usually with in a block or two from each other. Just go to the one with the better price. It is easier than trying to haggle with a manager. Again unless it is a clearance or damaged item. I might ask for a little more off. Not likely. I have to really like or want that item.

Here’s a scenario....
Home Depot has a sale on a tool box for $1000. It’s marked down from $1300.
Lowe’s has same tool box for $1300. They will meet that price and beat it by 10% of the difference.
You get the tool box for $970.
You’re a veteran, so Lowe’s gives you another 10% off. HD does not. Now it’s down to $873.
You use your Lowe’s card and get an additional 5% off. HD doesn’t do that either... you pay $829.35.
You saved $170.65. Worth it? It would cost you about 10 minutes of your time.

So this is less time consuming than asking a manager in a store for a discount? Just go to the dealership with the lowest advertised price in the local paper and
“go freaken buy it there”.
It takes more time to get out to the parking lot to drive to the other store than it does asking if they’ll price match.
Why do people wast time haggling. If it is less somewhere else go freaken buy it there and save yourself some time.
To each their own. But I'm with Dirtymike. I don't have time to be tracking down some manager to save 10% of a difference. I research on line and usually buy there. Or go to the cheapest place if I need it that day.
