New oil, old oil, mega awesome oil, new gas, old gas, transformer optimas prime gas, new spark plugs, clean out the carb, replaced the carb, pulled the gas tank off to make sure there wasn't anything gunking it up, changed plugs again.... help mehhhhhhhh

Are you getting spark? could be magneto.

No spark in your lawn mower or snowblower engine? Use this guide to test & troubleshoot ignition system problems - including coil & switch replacement.

Have you tried the flywheel gap adjustment? Checked the ignition coil?

spark, fuel & air is all it takes.

ethanol gas is the devil on small engines.

I'm not even going to pretend to know how to adjust the flywheel gap.

There is that grab bar handle, kill switch thingy.

I have to follow the cable from the handle down to the motor and really torque that thingy, then mine starts. Otherwise it acts like the kill switch thingy is engaged.

I feel your pain. Mine was starting but surging. Honda engine. Pulled & cleaned the carb. Reinstalled & wouldn’t even start. Next step was to replace carb. However the sticker on engine housing no longer legible with engine #. So I bit the bullet & took it to a small engine guy & after he cleaned carb twice he couldn’t get it to start either. He’s ordering a new carb to install. We shall see

Pull the spark plug and squirt a little oil in the cylinder. Helps with compression and starting. Spray some ether in the carb also.

                            it is easy
remove the top cover w pull rope, and there will be coil attached w 2 small bolts.. I usually remove it and sand the surface a tad to remove rust. put it back on and use a business card to get the gap ballpark if you dont have feeler gauge.

should take less than 10 mins

Might need to take some sandpaper to it.
