I have a pig feeder set up for a north wind that was had the lid removed 3 times this month! It’s one of the heavy galvanized lids that takes a grown man 2 hands to remove and maneuver through the winch bracket to remove. At first I thought possibly wind.... but even in a strong wind it’s so thick in there you don’t even notice a breeze. But I couldn’t imagine a trash panda getting this task done, even working as a team

After the second time (earlier in the week) I replaced it again and placed a iron ore rock on top that looks like it came from the worlds strongest man competition. DONE!

Went while ago to check the camera because I knew I would have a north wind this evening..... rock on the ground.... lid opened and half slid off... hmmm

Checked camera... ONE.... just ONE COON! If I don’t kill him tonight I’m going to move camera up and video just how this is going down. He’s on some juice... or PCP. The rock and lid both outweigh him. I might just watch him if he shows and learn the way of the Jedi

Not that style lid. It’s got I’d guess a 3” maybe 4” lip. Made from heavy gauge metal. Won’t hold water like a band style. Didn’t kill him tonight.... killed a big sow instead she showed up first
