    MudBugs How much and Where?

It's about that time so for those that have bought their own sacks where have you bought them and how much are they. I heard that this year will be tough due to the prolong drought so I expect the prices to be real high.

We need a MudBug forum so we can post up the daily prices j/k

I live in an area where there seem to be plenty. Is it legal to catch em and sell em yourself? Would anybody buy them?

              Fiesta last week was $4.29lb
              Brookshire Brothers $3.79lb

This early you will get what they call first runs and the will vary in size

Ouch! I can't believe how expensive they have gotten. Back when I was trying to make a living on the vball circuit we used to complain about $0.75 a pound cooked at our favorite resturant in New Orleans. Now I can't even begin to afford to fill up on them.

                      Raliegh,

Right now they are $3.50 from the place I picked them up last year for Nanza.

I posted of the Nanza thread that I won't be able to make it do to work but I could lead someone in the right direction if needed.

As usual they expect the prices to drop in the next few weeks.

                      Doug

Yes. It is run by the family of a woman I work with, they said that so far the crawfish are smaller due to the hurricanes this past year.

They will continue to get cheaper as it gets later in the year.
