A shoutout to TBHr “Redgun”

I was blessed with the opportunity to meet a longtime TBH lurker “Redgun” AKA Mark. I had “crappie” day of fishing last week and posted a thread about breaking my only fishing rod that I had received as a Christmas gift.

Redgun sent me a PM and offered up a couple he had that were lying around. He came down yesterday and joined me in my adventure on the creek and around the lake.

He also makes custom baits from home and sells them by word of mouth. I watched him out-fish me with his own bait so I know they work! Give him a holler!!!

I caught a buzz and Mark showed me up with some crappie. The silver bait with pink jig head was the ticket.

I bought a bunch of jigheads from him last year. They are awesome screwlock jigheads that pay for themselves with how many fish you can catch with each piece of plastic...assuming you don’t hang up and break off like I do about once every 10 minutes!

I lose a lot less using heavier heads! 1/4oz you can shake or pop it loose a lot easier!!
