What would one expect to pay for a base model Defender HD8? Do they make a no-frills HD10? If so, what is a decent price? I currently have a 2017 Polaris Ranger 900XP. Base model, no power steering. Something equal to what i have now.

BTW, I assume everyone is liking their defender. What is everyone's opinion on getting a base model and DIY'ing what it would take to make it to the XT Model?

Get the DPS and do it yourself. The DPS comes with power steering, and you’ll want it especially if upgrading tires.

Mine is an 8

the 5's had tranny problems,,,stay away.

The difference in the 8s and 10s aren't significant, (the 8 has PLENTY of power)
