So should I fish them out as much as possible?

This is just me talking, but yes, i would. Every small body i have caught them in does not have much population of anything else. Very little bait, and any bass in the pond are skinny.

I agree I would throw everydang one on the bank. May not help but it’s a start. Every pond has them

What Brandon said, kill every one of those green sunfish you can. They have a bigger mouth than a bluegill and can eat what a bass can, so they are competition.

So if I call a body of water a tank, a pond, or a lake it is all the same to me.

Just like a bluegill is a perch and a perch is a bluegill.

So no disrespect intended - I was trying to complement you on your body of water - nothing more nothing less

There are Perch in Texas ??? Negative

Pan fry. Sometimes skin, sometimes scale. Remove head and guts , you’re good. We prefer those perch type fish over most others.

You got me wanting to go catch some now, so I guess I can thank you for that :-)

To me, perch are the best eating. Old school I guess.

Anyone have pictures of their artificial structure and habitat ------ looking for new ideas on a pond without any structure other than a few trees.

5 gallon bucket with some concrete and pvc pipe works pretty good

1” PVC pipe, black corrugated pipe, red/blue 1/2 inch Pex pipe, and pipe dope, then let your imagination go.

This was the EXACT picture I had in my mind when I made my post - seen it on another thread and thought that kicks *** - this is original and different - it offers several different statuses for different fish.

                              Looking for others.
