        If I can get back over there during the turkey hunt I will see if it has any leaves on it

        Going to need a long lens, limbs are way up high

                    cottonwood as said above several times; if it was an bur oak or elm the bark would not peel off easily and it would be "heavy"

                        I dont think that is pizz elm, the bark looks much coarser but I am wrong the majority of the time. I think its cottonwood too, but be best to go back in a few weeks and look at the leaves when they sprout. Looks like they are in a low spot with some standing water and cottonwoods like that.
