Eastern turkeys and feeders?

I believe it is illegal to hunt eastern turkeys around feeders up in north east texas, I'm not sure but going on a hunt up near paris first week of april and just wanted to make sure. I'm gonna look it up in the outdoor annual just figured you guys could give me a heads up. It is illegal to bait correct???

Bowie county had no baiting, and it didnt matter any way. They have a mind of their own, and are more difficult to get on than the Rio IMO. Find a roost, and set up around it would be my advice.

I just looked at the annual online and you are right. Not sure which county you are in, but there is a list in the annual stating which counties you can hunt easterns in and in each of those counties baiting is illegal.

Shotguns, legal archery equipment or crossbow (restricted to persons with upper-limb disability)

They also have to be taken to mandatory check stations within 24 hours of the kill.
