Yall can blame your strict alcohol enforcement laws for this not Walmart or the other retailers. Why would they stick their necks out and risk getting fined, they're always going to err on the side to protect themselves.

You can't buy it anywhere in Texas before 7am..I know this why? Because I get off work at 6am 1/2 the time..Sometimes I gotta twoddle my thumbs for an hour![emoji23]

Walmart like many other business have stupid policy on account of the stupid judges that will even hear stupid lawsuits brought to court by worthless people..

I hate that stuff like spraypaint and/or bbs have to be approved but I am still grateful for the self checkout lanes.

I've been denied at least a half dozen times at HEB because I run in there without my wallet just cash only.

It's usually a high school kid that cards me then denies me. I ask how old he is and I'll say "I'm old enough to be your dad." Or "I have a tattoo that's old enough to buy beer"

But still no dice.
The first two times i had them get the manager and the manager stood firm.
Even tho I may "appear" to be over 21 they still need physical proof.

And I've been caught tying to buy a 12 pack or 3 on many a Sunday at 11:45AM

I live in Central Louisiana and the Parish that we live in (Lasalle) bans alcohol sales on election day when polls are open. When 8pm strikes and the voting is over they can sell it!! Crazy. No drunk voting!!!!!

I found out at Walmart last weekend (Saturday) that you can't buy beer until 7AM Lol Who knew? … It was 6:59. Literally. We sat there and twiddled our thumbs for 30 secs before restarting the transaction. Reminded me of the "Meet the Parents" scene at the airport ticket counter.

I feel like I see homeless people buying beer early in the mornings at gas stations all the time.

The register will not ring up alcohol before 7 a.m and Noon on Sunday. There was a guy in front of me last Sunday at SAMS that had this problem. Actually, the checker said it won't until 7:01 or 12:01.

It's stupid but blame it on all the lawsuits and stupid people.

What if my teenage daughter doesn’t have an ID to prove she is my daughter? Then what?
