Everything wrong with the next generation

Moe’s Coursework Completion Services is a paper mill, meaning that students pay for finished coursework. Yahoo Finance interviewed the owner.

This about sums it up. Summary: 1 guy owns a paper mill writing essays and completing college assignments for students. 5 people hired part time. Makes $180k a year. Professors too lazy to care. The whole system is F'ed.

I had to edit someone's article once in class. What should have been 10 minutes tops took me a half hour. It was the worst piece of dung I have ever read in my entire life. Complete garbage. 1 long run on sentence about 300 words long. Misspellings all over the place. Absolutely HORRIBLE. He now had a masters degree. College education is worthless these days because of the complete lack of effort on everyone's part: professors, administrators and students.

I envy everyone who works in a manual labor type job for a living. You all have a special skill that isn't taught. I was lied to and told I needed to go to college to avoid that life. Work in the air conditioning. All its done is credit a bunch of pansy asses.

    God bless the working man.

    Rant over.

Right. I remember a project where we had to edit each others papers. This girl took my paper and tried to explain to me how I should definitely change my grammar and sentence structure to be just as horrible as hers. Multiple times in college I've realized most people that get through college are average at best.

Sounds like capitalism at work to me. See a market willing to pay and capitalize on it. Every business coach will tell you to “hire” your weaknesses, sounds like that’s what the “clients” are doing.

Would you prefer he sell drugs out of his dorm? Or work at Pizza Hut and graduate with no real business acumen and tens of thousands in student loan debt?

I would prefer less degrees obtained fraudulently. I put in the work and some slacker who didn't do anything gets the job over me because his GPA is artificially inflated.

That was my first reaction but I understand where the OP is going also...….lol!!! I for one would not trade my college experience for anything else, it gave me access to the world and opportunity to change my family tree.

That’s the definition of “affirmative action”

Sadly probably mine, but absolutely the ones under me. I am a millennial, which is age 37 to 22. I am 31 and swear up and down the milennials people hate started the day after I was born.

Now it is the newest generation under millennial... That is what is scary. 21 years old and under. Graduating college now and about to join the work force. Watch out.

Welcome to getting older on seeing “the other generation’s” problems. The older you get you will be qualified to use in the plural sense. Lol As mentioned all generations have their problems. I am on the lower end of the baby boomers.

I hear you! Imagine training millennial peace officers....I have never seen writing as poor as some of these freshly graduated "scholars". When you find one that can put thoughts down on paper and is interested in doing something other than just driving the car...you have something very special.

Call me unOrthodox, but I truly believe I learned nothing in college, that I use every day (any day) in my job. And I have a degree in the field that I work in, I still believe that you get in the workforce, soak up everything like a sponge and work hard. college diploma means zero.
