    Hoyt Cam 1 1/2?

I've got a '06 Hoyt v-tec for wife recently. Trying to tune arrows with whisker biskit and getting 1-1 1/4"tear nock high. I've had whisker biskit on 4 different bows and never had any problems tuning bullet holes. Using same arrows on her martin cheetah and same rest and getting bullet holes. Wondering if cam 1/2 can be out of time and if so how do I get it timed as both cams look different. Other option I looked at was changing rest but wife want to keep rest if possible. Thanks for any info.

I would start with getting the specs for the bow off the Hoyt website and checking to see if the measurements are close to the specs listed for the bow. They don't have to be exact but should be within 1/4 inch or so. Also check the tiller to make sure that's equal. After that have her draw the bow and make sure the cams are rotating at the same time. If the cams are out of time, one will bottom out before the other. Find out which one is out of time and twist/untwist the appropriate cable.

Go to Hoytusa dot com and get the specs for it. Get ATA and BH set. Then make sure both draw stops are hitting at the same time.

Double check the spine of the arrows and make sure they are within the proper limits for that new bow as well.

the cam.5 has timing marks on the cams . . . . start there.
