Living in shop while in house being built

    I sincerely appreciate all the replies.. we are now considering going to shop/camper route.. may be alot more friendly on the pocketbook.. I love the idea tho! Keep them coming.

      That's what I've got right now, down on the coast for my fish camp till I get the time to finish out the living quarters. Eventually I'll build something bigger down there, but it's just me and I'm only in my 30's so I don't need more than the 1 bedroom.

        We did this for 2 years. I walled off a portion of my shop and installed a mini-split inverter for climate control and we stored all of our possessions in there until we were able to build. It worked great for us.

          We are in the process of doing the same thing with a 40x60 with a 24x60 lean to with one bay door. a 24x40 lean to on the other side with 2 bay door. We are also doing a small corner apt that will later be turned into my office
