Dog crate thoughts?

Have a new lab pup at the trainer going through obedience 1 & 2. I am looking for a good quality crate for the truck bed for travel. Currently debating between the Ruff Tuff Kennels and the Gunner Kennels. Anyone have experience with either?

I don’t have experience with the two you listed but check out Impact Dog Crates. I have one for my dog and highly recommend them.

Gunners are fine, but ridiculously expensive. I bought two used ruff tough kennels off of a friend and they’ve been pretty handy. I don’t use them very often because I don’t travel with my dogs, but they seem durable. If my dog can’t ride in the back of the truck, I’m not buying a $400 kennel for the purpose lol

RTK kennels are the real deal. Used mine for several years then sold it. They will last forever.

I have a couple ruff tuff kennels. They have treated me well! They are plenty tuff for me and couldnt see spending the money on a gunner... I bought it used but paid less for my Owens diamond plate dog box that will hold an easy 6 dogs and lots of gear on top.
