Concur. I often wonder what the term "gun violence" means, and why organizations like the NRA allow that term to used without challenge? What the heck does gun violence even mean - if a handgun was used to pistol whip someone, is that gun violence? If someone is struck by a motor vehicle does that constitute car violence? I do believe that LEOs in the UK are more concerned about stabbings and knife attacks than firearms, but then history shows how they disarmed themselves and we had to bail them out in two World Wars.

Nothing new. Been that way over there at least since the mid 90s when I moved back to the US from there. 10x more likely to be assaulted in an aggravated manner in London than anywhere in the US. You are expected to fight over there if you wish to walk the streets at night. I carried a knife for self defense for years because of the neighborhood my school was in. Clapham Junction.
