    Predator Decoy Supreme

Any of you predator hunters ever use the Predator Supreme Decoy? It was the original moving/wobbling decoy for predator hunters.

It was invented by my cousin, George Brint from Boliver, Tennessee, who recently died. He manufactured and sold them online and through Cabelas.

It was simply a round, battery powered mechanism with an elliptical rotator that caused the “Decoy Heart” to wobble. It was covered with a fur/tail that simulated a wounded rabbit. George was an avid crow hunter.

He eventually sold to Primos, who changed the design a bit. Now there are multiple copy cats.

    Anyone ever use the original?

I knew George and used them when they first hit the market. I stopped using them when I realized that the motor noise would spook a critter. George was a very nice man.
It was about this time that I began using a simple turkey tail feather tied to a small fiberglass rod with lightweight (4 lb.) fishing line. Any breeze will move the feather and it doesn't stink, use batteries or make any noise. I call it the Stick Tease and it will also let you know the direction of the wind at the caller.
      Adios,
