I'm flabbergasted, dumbfounded mixed with a splash speechless

Last Thursday morning just as I was about to leave the shop I see a Sherrif pull in to the yard, followed shortly by another.
My curiosity was peaked. I finish filling out my repair order and look up. I see 2 city cops pulling out.
As I'm pulling up to the gate I see the Sherrifs talking with one of the new employee's. He quit last summer, last Tuesday was his first day back...

I just found out why the cops was talking to him.
His mom called them, he's 20ish.
He wasn't feeling good but still came to work.

I've got two differing thoughts.
Boo mom, we work when we don't feel job. To me it's part of being an adult.

Yeah mom, trying to keep the flu from spreading.
