    Disappointing Jesse James documentary

The treasure hunt parts of the video is either a reenactment or full of bologna.

I don’t know if the experts interviewed are purposely muddying the waters for the sake of this presentation or what. Don’t know what to believe anymore.

Probably the main reason for my curiosity all these years is hearing about various tales of JJ in Oklahoma when I was a little boy. He and his gang were said to have robbed a train there. There’s written accounts of the Dalton gang committing crimes in that part of Oklahoma, but I haven’t found anything conclusive on Frank and Jesse James there.

A lady that lives not too far from me wrote a book called The Life and Times of Jesse James in Texas or some thing similar. She said he was her great grand father and lived until an old man just out side of Marlin. She had family photos that showed her great great grand mother with only one arm and in the same dress with the same repairs as a photo taken not long after she lost the arm to the bomb the feds threw into their house in Missouri. She had other photos of him and you can see he was very tall and greatly resembled him.
