    Adaptive cruise control

Looking for feedback from anyone that has and uses this feature, especially in a Ram or Ford truck. I'm looking at new trucks and this feature caught my eye. I make several long interstate trips a year and the idea of heading East on I-20 and I-30 and not having to repeatedly reset the cruise control from braking seems like it would be nice luxury. I've always been a GM guy, but they don't offer adaptive cruise control in any of their new trucks, not even the Sierra Denali or Silverado High Country trims. It's kind of a bummer, although GM does have some cool features in their new trucks that Ram and Ford don't have.

I've driven a 2002 Tahoe for 17+ years, so I'm mostly inexperienced with modern electronic features like back-up cams, lane change assist, adaptive cruise, parking assist, etc.

Does the adaptive cruise control technology work pretty good and is it a nice feature on long highway trips?

really? I've got a 2015 denali that has it and I love it. its great on the interstate, you can set it at 3 different distances. its also great if you're convoying to the lease.

I drive a lot...300 plus miles a day & personally just not ready for these self driving cars. I would rather be off cruise in traffic and it's easy enough for me to manually adjust speed with the +/- buttons at those moderate changes.

Now the back up cam is snazzy & wish my company truck had the lane change assist / warnings in the side mirrors like my Camaro simply for an extra safety buffer.

I have it on my Tundra. I like it, it'll throw you though the window when some JA pulls out in front of you.

          F150 platinum.
Won’t own another truck without. Awesome for long trips

Yep. In researching this, I read that GM did a lot of customer focus groups when developing the new 2019 half-ton, and adaptive cruise control was not something that GM truck customers showed a lot of interest in. So, even a fully-loaded 2019 Sierra Denali doesn't have it. Yukon and Tahoe have it, but not Sierra and Silverado.

It's great on the Denali. I don't know about the others. We set on middle stage. Less and everyone cuts you off. More and the passengers get nervous.

              It is nice to have.
