Byrd knives by Spyderco

They are made and sold by Spyderco but a lot cheaper.
Was told the blades are the same material as the Spyderco knives.
Anyone have one , if what's your opinion on them.
Looking for a EDC.

Byrd Cara Cara recommended. I’d say it’s likely the best budget blade money I’ve spent, and I’m a sucker for budget blades. Sized like an Endura.

I’ve got ZT,s, and plenty of other Spidey’s to choose from but it finds its way to my carry pocket often. Delivered Spyderco sharp!

for 26 bucks on Amazon, it’s a safe gamble.

edit, im no steel expert but I think 18Cr13MoV is similar to Aus8. And, you’re not paying the cost for S30v either.

Putting it on my amazon buy list
My buck 726 has been awesome EDC but also like a serrated blade

I also bought a GAZO G710 and kinda have regrets as it is heavy for my edc

Those of you who like “budget” knives, you may take a look at this one. I bought one based on the reviews. After getting it, I was so blown away by the quality (for the price) that I ordered 3 more just to keep in the safe for later on. It’s a copy of the Benchmade Mini Griptillian. The make a full size version as well. For $16.....I’ve not seen anything come close to it. I have a couple Benchmade 940’s and a few other higher end knives, but I carry this one 3-4 days a week usually.

I’ve had one of the stainless Cara Caras for several years. It’s a good knife. My only complaint is that I’ve bent the metal clip several times. I was able to bend it back into place with some pliers.
