i just got back from arkansas on a snow goose hunt and this year the hunting is terrible, the hatch was destroyed by two severe storms in canada killing the majority of the juveniles, we saw plenty of adult birds but they just wouldnt decoy, might want to save your money and go on a different hunt, check out top flight preserve they put together some really nice pheasant, chuckar and quail hunts

Hunting is VERY tough this season. Birds haven't been cooperating all season & the e-call isn't helping most of the time. I know several guides and good goose hunters that have hung it up for the season. We have had a couple of double digit hunts this conservation season, but most have been 5 birds give or take. This is with a roost next door with several thousand birds on it.
If you have to do a hunt, go to Arkansas, even then, it’s not great. Was there last weekend and we had a 0 and an 8 goose day. That’s extremely slow for Arkansas.
I didn’t set out any goose spreads this yr in NW Oklahoma, geese never showed, at least none enough to get excited about. Cranes showed up really late and ducks were way low on numbers
We were supposed to go tomorrow morning but the guide called this afternoon and cancelled....no birds around to hunt. Haven't seen any good reports from anywhere this season. Lots of 0's on the board from big tournament at Mack's this weekend.
