Unless you live close to a real bakery, you will have to settle for the preservative packed off the shelf stuff. I go with the Orowheat and Pepperidge Farms brand. The Hearty White and Oatmeal are both very good white breads.

They will both take a knife full of Peter Pan with no problem.

I always knew you was 'off'. Fake news here folks. The reason one would make a grilled cheese with white bread is so they minds would be tricked into thinking its wheat from being grilled

And bologna? That's the ears and peckers of the sammich meat world

good bread but not for a sammich.
I prefer Nature's Own Honey Wheat for most things but grilled cheese or bacon sandwiches I need white bread.

We could go w/ thick cut smoked bologna.

                  2 cups splenda
1 beer (this is the best part - add one, drink other 5 during last step)

Look I’m not talking about all this gormay bread. Just good ol’ white bread in a sack.

I've gone to using hamburger buns on just about any sandwich except when I grill them. A good size bun will hold plenty of PB&J.

My wife buys all of our bread from the HEB bakery. I like all of them I’ve tried but the Asiago bread is my favorite.

2 cups of splenda? Ooooof. Good thing you don't live in California. I'm sure Splenda is known to cause cancer in California.
