Howdy TBH!

I am a member of the Swine Auction Committee. The goal of this committee is to sell meat packages to raise scholarship money for the kids who compete in the livestock show. We are the swine committee, so we sell Whole Hog Packages, for $1000.

This package includes 50 pounds of gourmet processed and vacuum sealed pork. It will include two hams, ribs, sausage links, breakfast sausage, etc.

As I mentioned earlier, the money we raise goes back to the kids to help pay for their college education. We are filling orders now, and the meat packages will be available for pickup in June.

If you are interested in being a Champion Buyer, let me know. That's when it gets real fun!

Lastly, I know most of y'all can go shoot a hog at will. So if you don't want the meat, you can always just donate money.

Where does the pork come from? Is it the pigs that get sifted or lower placing sale hogs or what?

The meat is processed and distributed by a third party. No real way to tell which lot the meat package came from.

I understand that, but the pork is from the hogs that are showed there, wether sifted or placed correct?
