That was this guy. Totally different species but good memory!

I'm hoping he spreads his genes as well. Will dart him next year and swap him with the buck on the north side to hit up those ladies as well.

Here he is last fall before he shed. He definately gained a few inches.

I’ve heard that once they lose their velvet the meat doesn’t taste as good because of the testosterone. Wondering if it’s true. I have only eaten does.
