Probably not very big. When I was in college we caught one about 2 1/2' long and put him in a 48qt. igloo and snuck him into the dorm. One of the guys on our floor got him to snap at one of those heavy duty plastic coat hangers and that little gator snapped it in two. We elected to release him back to his home at Spring Lake at Aquarena Springs since we needed the cooler for beverages.
