Well I ended up shooting a lone boar but he ran off and the buckshot leaving almost no blood trail I lost him. I don't like not recovering shot animals but I'm almost certain he's laying dead not far into the woods so he won't be destroying no more corn.

I was planning on going. All my hunting buddies don't want to. So I'm not going. Been thinking of finding a new crew or joining an existing one.

Congrats dbp! Hopefully you find him tomorrow. PB2, nothing wrong with hunting by yourself. I find when I hunt with others, we visit enough to discourage animals from coming into view.

No sir
Saw a doe and a fawn but lost them in the tall grass @ 630.
Was hoping to see them @ the feeder when it spun at 7.

About 715 we climbed down and went to check on the feeder and pull the SD Card.

The feeder's 90% empty so it's not coming out the spout good.

The guy I was hunting with said uh oh got big problems. Lost the magazine to my rifle.
Spent the next 2½ hrs tracking and backtracking looking for it in knee to thigh high grass. He has a metal detector We tried that to no avail. He says it's a safety concern.

We spent a good bit of our time discussing The Bible.

We had a good time.
