    Raptor Tricks

I have been shooting Slick Trick broadheads since 2006 and I became the only Slick Trick Pro staff in South Africa around 2010.

After Gary passed away and so does the pro staff stuff.

My go too broad head has always been the 125gr Slick Trick Std.

Working in Saudi for Saudi Aramco as Material Specialist from 2013 till end of 2016 I did managed to slip in a hunt or two but then the urge to bow hunt fell by the wayside for a bit and the rifles got more work.

This hunting season its all going to change and the RPM 360 is starting to launch the arrows nicely out to 60 yards again.

Buff would probably agree that the closest discerption of the Escarpment of Mpumalanga is like the Prairies with rolling hills and big open plains.

This year I intent to spot and stalk Blesbuck with the bow.

I could compare Blesbuck with Pronghorn Antelope they can be skittish and its not often I get a rifle hunter on the sticks below a 100 yards but it can be done.

From the few reviews I have seen the Raptor Trick flies well at longer distances and would like to use the for spot and stalk hunts this year.

Anyone that have hunted with the Raptor Tricks I would appreciate your feed back on this mechanical broad head.

    Thanks.

I love the Slick Tricks thats why I am interested in the raptor tricks

You asked for it. You got it.  A new 100 grain mechanical broadhead for those that want a small profile head in flight. A broadhead that delivers a full two inches of devastation on contact. The RaptorTrick builds on the durability of SlickTrick's proven all-steel design. It also brings the flight characteristics you d

never tried them, but i have shot the little brother viper trick and the other brother magnum. i will tell you this as long as your bow is tuned and arrows are spined correctly, they will fly straight. i am shooting both of them out to 120 yards with no issues side by side with my field points. shooting 76 pounds 525 grain arrow 280 fps.

Yea, it’s important to tune your bow 100% I love the Std’s and how the fly like a laser beam.

Will probably have to invest in a pack now and try it... [emoji38]

I shot some at target the last few weeks out of curiosity..... and they were $17 . Never shot an animal and never would shoot a mechanical at anything but maybe a Javelina or turkey just my personal preference from a bad taste from several mechanicals.

At 60 they fly as true as field points is all I can say.... but I won’t shoot my mags at same dot at 60 either. So no “accuracy” advantage for me personally worth sacrificing guaranteed carnage of an amazing fixed blade

Blades were kinda a hybrid single/ double bevel. At first glance I thought single (which surprised me) but back edge was beveled too just way different

Blade sharpness from packaging wasn’t up to standard of the 100’s of mags I’ve shot but I believe is more than salvageable to touch up for deer/ hog if one desired. No way I’d shoot an elk or anything with one
