Beach house or bay house rental is generally a good option. With that said, first week of March, weather is 50/50...could be cold and windy, could be mid 70's and nice. Fishing can be pretty tough that time of year as well.

I'm with one of the posters above. Head to LA and stay at one of the nicer casinos and book a fishing trip or two.

Or push it out a couple weeks, and do a turkey hunt with nice lodging.

This is what we did . Two nights at the nugget and fished on the way home at hackberry r&g.

If y’all push the trip you’ll be in spring break season, may be a bit better bird watching at the casino.
