Suggest some good arrows for me

I've been shooting the same crappy raw carbons for a while. They are getting beat up, bloody, and all hairy. I need to start slowly replacing the quiver. I've seen some arrows with the wraps already on them. What's the benefit of that? Any other arrow suggestions? I shoot 63lbs. Thanks!

I shot GoldTip 5575s for a number of years but recently switched to Carbon Express Maximas. I'm very impressed with the Maximas.

Don't know how much ya wanna spend, but I shoot the Easton full metal jackets and they hit hard, but I'm going to steer away from anything with aluminum (can possibly bend) and try out the new Easton Nano-infused arrows. Bout $100 for bare shafts as I build my own, but tack on about $20 for purchasing a finished arrow. Maximas by Carbon Express are popular as well. Hope this helps.

CarbonTech. I shoot the heavy Rhinos, slower but very tough and I like a heavy hunting arrow. Very durable. The have lighter weight ones, too. Make in the USA near Sacramento, CA. Wraps? Because life is too short to shoot ugly arrows!

I shoot the same poundage as you do, and I shoot the Beaman ICS Hunters in 340.

              No complaints.

I was shooting the Easton ST Axis. Really liked them. However, last time I purchased arrows, the archery shop was out of Axis 340 shafts. I switched over to Beman MFX, which are essentially the same shaft, from my understanding. I like them both. I like the small diameters shafts, but the extra weight that comes with the thicker walls. Not sure what size arrow you use, but I have a few older ST Asix 340's laying around if you want to give one a whirl. However at 63#, I think they may be over-spined a bit.
PM me if you want me to send you one to try out.

I'm going to be using the new A/C/C Pro Hunters this season.

Easton Epic 400 are what I shoot at 62 lbs. They are a less expensive than the Axis but I don't have any complaints. I think they are $80-85 dozen.

I've shot a lot of different arrows and my favorites are carbon express maxima hunters. Smooth finish and shoot very good. A little pricey but worth it to me. Depending on your draw length, the 250s will be good for 63lbs. If your going to shoot at 70 also, I would then go with the 350's.

I shoot the GT 5575s. They work just fine.

As for wraps? See Cameron. He'll hook you up.

                            +1 on the Bemans.

As for wraps, use the Cotton method and do your own with a little lacquer.

Easton ST Epics - half the price and they kill em just as dead as any other arrow out there. 2009 models are the new N-fused Carbon that has come onto the market. Don't know what it means or what difference it makes, but it sounds cool
